Privacy Policy

The short version: your Amazon data never passes through us. It goes from Amazon into a system in your own cloud account. What we collect is what you type into the application form and what ordinary web analytics record. The rest of this page says exactly that, in detail.

Who we are

What we collect on this site

Three things, and nothing else.

  • The application form. When you apply, we receive the answers you type: your name, work email, what you sell, your ad spend, your tools, and your other answers. We also record the page you applied from, the page that referred you, and the country your request came from. We use these to decide whether your account is a fit and to reply to you. They are emailed to us and kept in a store we control.
  • Web analytics. When enabled, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel record page views and basic device information so we can see which pages are read and whether our ads work. These set cookies. You can block them with a browser setting or extension and the site works the same.
  • Email. If you write to us, we keep the conversation to answer you.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for your Amazon password, ever. We do not collect payment details on this site. The application form keeps your answers in your browser's session storage while you fill it in, so a refresh does not lose them, and clears them when you submit.

Your Amazon data, when you use the setup

The setup is a system deployed into your own cloud account. It pulls your Amazon Ads and Seller Central reports into a database you own and connects the AI you choose to it. Your reports, costs, margins, sales and client lists stay in that account. They do not pass through our servers and we cannot read them.

The Amazon connection runs through our approved Amazon application, which is how you skip the API application process. That login hands the access token to your own deployment. If you would rather use your own Amazon application, the setup supports that too.

Your AI provider (Anthropic for Claude, OpenAI for ChatGPT) processes the questions you ask under its own terms. We are not party to that.

Who we share data with

Only the services needed to run this site.

  • Cloudflare hosts the site and the application store.
  • Resend delivers application emails to us.
  • Google and Meta receive analytics events when analytics are enabled.
  • We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Application answers are kept for as long as we might work together, and deleted on request. Analytics data follows Google's and Meta's own retention settings. Emails are kept as ordinary business correspondence.

Your rights

Email hello@ownyouramz.com to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We answer within a few business days. If you are in a region with a data protection authority, you can also complain to it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes get a note on this page.
